Membership Information
Anyone wishing to obtain membership to Brownsville Fire Company #1 need only to submit a letter of interest to the department at the address located on the main page, or email it to bfco.1@verizon.net The letter should include you name, address, telephone number, any previous firefighting/emt experience (please include the department name and point of contact for review) or certifications.
Your letter will be reviewed at the first monthly meeting after receiving it. At that time our Nominating/Investigating committee will review your letter and make the determination weather or not to give you an application. You will be notified if we intend to send you an application or not.
Regular Membership 18 years or older
Junior Membership 14 - 17 years old
